Lionel has proven himself to be the one of best Colorado musicians of all time and has won significant international acclaim by winning the International Blues Challenge (IBC) in the Solo/Duo Category (2008) and now in the Band Category (2011). Perhaps you have seen him playing with numerous blues greats around the world or on the Pacific Blues Cruise or maybe you caught his set with James Taylor at Red Rocks. If so, you know we are in for a real treat when the Lionel Young Band comes to the Zephyr Lounge hot off of their win at the IBC! The band is packed with some of the best musicians Colorado has to offer and everyone sings including the incredible drummer and vocalist Jay Forrest. Don't miss this show!
