South Side Marauders is a diverse group of musicians with backgrounds in everything from Jazz to Rock to Folk. They met and started playing together at the open mic night at The Castle in Littleton, Colorado. Many additions have been in and out of the band since then, but the "key three" remain. They've played everywhere from Toad Tavern and Hubbas to GI Jodies and G-Ducks. They took a hiatus from Summer 2007 to Summer 2008. The group has come back stronger than ever. Sean was born and raised in Colorado. He currently resides in Parker, Co. Sean started playing bass in middle-school on a 4 string Fender Jazz. In high school he played in jazz band as well as a progressive metal bands "Dark Skys" and "The Brock Vanderdoes, Sean Johnson, Orlando Otis, Andrew Arkis Band ". As he grew musically he sought out different styles of music and was enlightened by current guitarist and childhood friend Chance Martinez. Currently plays a 6 string Warwick Corvette.0 |

Chris was born and raised in Colorado. Grew up in Louisville, lived 10 yrs in Greeley, and been in Denver/ Aurora since. Been playing drums since 5th grade, was a complete band geek throughout school including marching band, pep band, orchestra and concert band, & jazz band. Music is still a major player in his life as it provides a source of sanity and controlled chaos all at once. Some past projects include 'Chewbacca on Acid' and 'Funk Truck' in H.S., 'Swallow and The Cement Pond', 'Bacon Jam', '24th Peak Project'. He currently plays on Tama drums and Zildjian cymbals. |
